Know What’s Accepted

Recycling is a long-standing method of reducing waste in our local landfills while conserving our natural resources. Knowing what CAN go into the cart is vital to maintaining the Town of McAdenville’s Recycling Program!

Don’t Tangle or Contaminate!

Don’t trash recycling – it’s expensive! Unwanted materials can ruin a collection of recyclables or shut down the recycling equipment! By following these tips to improve the value of recycling, you help secure the 17,000 recycling jobs currently in North Carolina, save landfill space and conserve natural resources! Know your NO’s and remember, when in doubt, throw it out!

Know What Goes Where!

Everyone knows bottles and cans go in the recycling bin, but some items are often mistaken as curbside recyclables. If you have any items that are non-curbside recyclables you can take them to other Recycling Centers in Gaston County, for a complete list of those centers, click here.
